New flat development responsible for extreme littering/flytipping

Reported via mobile in the Fly Tipping category anonymously at 09:44, Thursday 9 July 2026

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9758647.

The new flat development that has very recently opened at the site of the The Royal Standard Pub is causing huge littering/fouling/fly tipping issues.

Greenwich council is well aware of who the developer is, having recently engaged with them on planning permission and building consents. It is also very obvious and easy to contact and fine the residents, if Greenwich council is truly serious about its commitments in the most recent local election to combat litter.

This is extreme and is spilling onto Christchurch street and Pelton Road. This is causing an awful swell, is unsafe, antisocial and is also causing a rodent problem.
