Filthy street

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9697935.
As a high council tax payer it is appalling to see high levels of filth and evidence of basic respect for the environment! The street in front of tesco, towards Greenwich as far as the pharmacy is constantly a pig sty! It needs constant attention. Admittedly it is slightly better since the bin was moved. However the combination of Tesco and the bus stop may be a factor. Yesterday an entire cake was on the ground. I had to navigate safely with my mum who is 93. Further on there was so much debris.
The lighting in this area seems dim and there are a number of unsavory people hanging around approaching young ladies.
Please something should be done to maintain hygiene and make people accountable. Tesco should put up a sign telling customers to dispose of rubbish properly. Signs are needed to change these bad habits. Central and North London keep their streets clean why can’t we????? When we got into Greenwich there were bin bags everywhere . I guess waiting for pick up after the market. Even at that the street cleaners should be prompt as there’s heavy footfall and it generates money for the council
Thanks. I’m happy for my high council tax to go towards cleaning the streets where I live - (Berthon street is notorious for extensive fly tipping! At least someone has started cleaning our streets now. Thx!
