This a repeat request for fly tipping to be removed from the corner of Westdale Road and Eglinton Road. The original FixMyStreet ref is 9557300. I've created a new report because, according to Fix My Street the council do not read residents' updates to existing reports.

The council closed the previous job, saying this is private property. Up until March this year the council has been removing fly tipping from this location, because it has been recognised as a fly tipping hot spot. I have a copy of an email sent to my councillor last October by the Assistant Operations Manager acknowledging this. The following is an extract from the email:- "The operational supervisor for the area has confirmed that the items have been removed by the Task Force team. The team has been made aware that this is a fly-tipping hotspot, and they will be checking the location regularly moving forward."

If the Task Force team are still refusing to remove fly tipping from this area, how do we as residents keep our area clean and free from fly tipping?

    Passing the area today I saw that the cardboard boxes that were on the opposite pavement and were reported as fly tipping on the 03/06/2026 - FixMyStreet ref: 9557310 have been moved to this fly tipping spot. The council have marked job ref 9557310 as complete.
