The leaves in the surrounding area have not been swept for weeks and now with the rain have become very slippery and I fell as I was running for the bus

  • Nothing has changed the leaves are still there, it seems that the council are content to allow this particular part of the ROYAL Borough of Greenwich to look like a rubbish tip. I look forward to it being cleaned up for Christmas.

  • The situation is now much worse with an increased amount of leaves fallen as expected but none cleared away. The leaves mixed with litter. I have moved from a roain Lewisham borough with a daily road sweeper and here in this road of Charlton I have seen none. Constant rubbish blowing into our gardens. The leaves will soon by slippery and accidents will happen. Also, the waste bin on the corner of Canberra Rd / Marlborough Lane has disappeared within the last 2 weeks ? Is this because the council can longer afford to empty it ? This will add to constant litter which is making the area very unattractive.
