Excessive volumes of litter
Reported via desktop in the Fly Tipping category by James Aldworth at 08:52, Tuesday 18 March 2025
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7295504.
Excessive volumes of litter at the junction of the A2 and A2213. This really needs to be cleared up and addressed. I have been travelling this route for over a year now and can see no evidence of any efforts to remove this debris. If you leave it there, people will just keep chucking stuff on top. We are now just entering the Great British Spring Clean, which start on 21 March and runs through to 6 April. Look forward to hearing back from you on this issue. James

I have just reported this issue to Council again. The state of A2, running all the way from the Blackwall Tunnel to the junction with the A2213 is bad, with the roadside littered with litter, old road signs, no longer used cones. The junction with the A2213 is especially bad. The central reservations are filthy. I have been driving this route for a 1.5 and no attempt from I can see has been made to clean this area up.
