Litter and fly tipping in small green at junction of Moira Road and Rochester Way

Reported via mobile in the Fly Tipping category anonymously at 12:14, Saturday 18 January 2025

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6998111.

Ongoing problem of litter, flytipping and bagged dog poo makes this an unsafe and unhygienic area, particularly for children.

Updates

  • Since the council decided to remove the rubbish bin on the corner of Moira Road and Rochester Way few years ago, people take the green area in the same corner as the new rubbish bin. Please look at the pictures showing all the dog poo bags piling up after few weeks. This is after 2 months since the last time I personally cleaned them out. The green area has become a rubbish dumping ground and neighbours are taking up the cleaning themselves, however this should be done by the council. Whether provide a rubbish bin, or clean up the area frequently.
