This rubbish consisting mainly of disused bags of builders sand has been here for months.

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Roadside Gully category anonymously at 11:38, Thu 17 October 2024

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6626737.

The rubbish is a clear danger to cyclists and other road users. The debris is left over from the construction of a large building in the garden of a house in Shrewsbury Lane but the rubbish is on Eaglesfield Road.

  • It's still here. I wonder who on the council will pass the buck when there's an accident due to this? I will ask all the candidates on the 14th November BEFORE I cast my vote.

  • This has not been cleared. Two lorries arrived this morning, made plenty of noise but left the rubbish where it was, and still is.

  • Just taken. As we have been. It would help if we weren't misinformed by the council.

  • All building material needs to be removed before we can do gully

  • Finally (very nearly) cleared, after many months. What a great clear up. Perhaps if our council could reclaim at least some of the money owed by council tax dodgers and rent arrears the Royal Borough could afford a dustpan and broom. Never mind, the rain will probably wash it away or block the drains. Great job.
