Bins left on pavement 24/7 creating issues for disabled neighbours on Ormiston Road

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/Footpaths Repairs category anonymously at 15:01, Mon 8 April 2024

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5824466.

Most of the residents along this stretch of Ormiston Road (adjacent to Westerdale Road) never take their bins back in after bin day which is on a Monday.

All their bins (including recycling and composting) are left on the pavement 24 hours a day seven days a week!

As a disabled person, it is extremely tricky and can be dangerous to navigate. I sometimes have to go onto the road just to get around the bins.

Please please please can neighbours act with consideration for others, not everyone is as able-bodied or mobile as you are so please spare a thought for the blind or partially sighted, wheelchair users, or even baby buggies.

This has been going on for about a year now.
