Recent kerb BAD repairs
Reported via iOS in the Pavements/Footpaths Repairs category anonymously at 07:26, Wed 16 August 2023
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4896319.
The recent repair to our street kerb was complete to a very bad standard. The stones were not reattached, only some cement added to the edges. Apart from looking bad, of course the stones were loose again only a few days later. Please may it be repaired to a decent standard?

The issue has not been fixed, why has this been closed?

Mending the bad job won’t resolve the problem. The kerb stones are loose because vehicles drive on it, including Council’s. Adding cement to the edge does not work. There are many loose stones, which is a trip hazard. Please can someone visit site and assess the situation so that we don’t have to spend years contacting the council to get this resolved? Thanks.

Now tarmac has been added to one small patch. It didn’t work either. Please may I ask again for the council to send someone over to assess the problem and find a permanent solution to the large patch where kerb stones are loose and pose a trip hazard? Photos attached.

Please can someone come to Strongbow and assess what is required? There are several loose kerb stones and the council keeps wasting money in repairs that are not resolving the situation.

Unbelievably, this has been closed on Fix my Street. I had to, yet again, raise a new report.
