Rubble left in road by Riney contractors

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/Footpaths Repairs category anonymously at 08:31, Tue 23 May 2023

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4585470.

Despite entering in the correct postcode (SE3 8PR), the map marker in a previous report is showing the wrong street. The problem is in BALCHEN ROAD. See road sign in both photos. Over a week ago, Greenwich Council-approved contractors Riney arrived and put tarmac on a previously paved area. The broken paving slabs the labourers removed were then piled up in the road and cones put around them. Is Riney waiting to build up enough piles like this in the borough before sending a truck out to remove them all? Balchen Road leads to a cul-de-sac and this council sanctioned mess is a massive inconvenience for local resident parking.
