Waste water pooling, causing foul smell and slime.
Reported via mobile in the Blocked Roadside Gully category anonymously at 09:05, Wed 10 May 2023
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4535255.
This blockage (or whatever is causing the pooling) has been evident for months. It is dirty, stinks and is likely to attract vermin. I rent one of these garages and there was previously a problem with rats in them which is likely to recur if this is not dealt with. I know residents above this area have reported the issue several times.

The location of this stagnant, slippery area is Vanbruugh Park Estate SE3, under flats 2- 20 Combe Avenue. It is behind the bus stop on Westcombe Park Road and in front of garage number 17 (I think the address of the run of garages might be Vanbrugh Park, according to my rent statement, but they are not really on that road). Looking after it rained today, it seems that one of the causes of the pooling is a broken/ mis-aligned downpipe from the guttering above the area. The water is missing the drain (see attached photos). The drain may also be blocked. The drain in front of garage 9 is definately blocked so pooling is occurring there too.
