Reported via desktop in the Litter Bin category anonymously at 09:33, Saturday 18 March 2023

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4327502.

Tellson Avenue is digusting i am now calling it Shooters hill tip, people are loading their bins up and putting rubbish on the floor for weeks on end, the bags are all split and rubbish every where it is dangerous to walk along the paths as there is even glass. Not one of the tenants seem to care about the rubbish every where and their front gardens are a tip, our house is spotless in Aberford Gardens and we have rats, my husband is 73 and has caught 22 rats in our loft , we have seen rats go down the ., rubbish in Tellson avenue please can you knock on these doors in tellson Avenue and tell them to stop letting their rubbish go all over the place as this situation is getting worse. I am ashamed to say i live on this estate and do not invite people around as they say to me how can you live in such a s.... hole.

  • The issue will never be resolved, it is not the councils fault as they do came round and pick up the litter, it is the tenants who live in Tellson Avenue they overload their bins and leave loads of black bags out our resulting in birds and foxes rummaging though the bins, one tenant has a bin on the front filled with stones which has been there a year, Tellson Avenue is a slum not only the rubbish but the front gardens are a disgrace . I am ashamed to invite people round to my house as they say how can you live in such a S...t hole. Tenants are letting their dogs foul on the grass and i live in Aberford Gardens and we are always clearing up dog mess. We have got a problem with rats and so has my next door neighbour in all my husband has got 22 in our loft and recently caught 4 . We cant be the only tenants who have them. Would it be possible for you to send letters to tenants about the rat problem and also in Aberford Gardens tenants are throwing food out on the grass feeding the birds. Could we have a sign out saying not to feed the birds and not to let their dogs foul on pavements and grass areas. As i said before it is not the councils fault but the people who live here

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Got up this morning to another bag of rubbish ripped apart and blowing around on the green in Aberford Gardens. Aberford has a problem with rats and i know of 5 houses with them and probably more. This is an on going problem on the whole estate especially with tenants living in Tellson avenue people are leaving all their rubbish bags on the pavements which are being torn apart . Can the council send out letters to tenants to stop putting rubbish on pavements, my next door neighbour has rubbish all the time on the pavements including furniture, toys pots and pans and even clothes. Also a letter to stop tenants feeding the boys, this estate should be called Shooters tip
