Light is not working so approaching vehicles get less warning of need to turn left

Reported via desktop in the Road traffic signs category by Roger Corbett at 10:58, Wed 23 November 2022

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3986484.

See photograph for actual road sign. Lighting needs to be fixed.

For avoidance of doubt it is this turn left sign:

  • See photographs as it remains unrepaired - taken Saturday 21/01/23 - the bright light is from photo flash.

  • No lighting last night still.

Perhaps RBG would comment here if is the intention to replace the lighting or leave this and other roundabout signs at this location only illuminated reflectively by approaching cars.

  • Not fixed at last night

If it is RBG's intention not to fix the illumination of this sign then it needs to close the fault ticket suitably endorsed.

  • Just need RBG to state its intention or not to repair

  • I can only state that the illumination of the sign has not been reinstated - the loose hanging lamp cover has been secured

If RBG does not intend re-illuminating then they need to say so here thereby closing the ticket

  • No idea if RBG is watching this FMS ticket - surprised if they are not monitoring it

No sign of the lighting being restored to this unilt as at yesterday evening

  • Still lighting up

Need RBG to clarify if it intends fixing this.

There is a total absence of its updates here

  • Unit is still not lit.

RBG after nearly a year has not annotated anything upon this fault ticket - is it actually looking at them?

  • Still not lit

Surely we await RBG's annotation as to current status - i.e. is the lighting going to be restored or nor?

  • Not fixed at last night. It must be about time RBG comments on its intentions here. No RBG annotation since the fault was first raised way back when.
