Strong smell of drains

There's a very strong smell of drains on Thames Reach, and this is the third time in the last few months. We live on this road, and have to close our windows when it happens, which isn't comfortable in warm weather. It's a common smell up by the Ridgeway in Plumstead, but has only recently appeared in West Thamesmead. Is there a problem with the drains?
