Green Chain Walk sign is pointing into park not along road

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 04:20, Monday 4 July 2022

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

The part of this signpost going towards Oxleas is confusing and points north, down a path into Southwood Park, when it should point east-ish down Southwood Road towards the junction with Footscray Road. If you obey the sign you end up following around the back edge of the park and then joining up with the Green Chain Walk but heading in the wrong direction, to Crystal Palace.

Locals will know the sign should point down the road, but the Green Chain Walk signs are supposed to guide people who don't know the area who might think it shows a way through to the station, or who might not realise how small the park is.

The Crystal Palace part of the sign point the right way, down the right path into the park.
