Road dug up for 10 weeks and left

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:20, Monday 17 January 2022

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

This part of Dunblane road has been dug up with the hole left open for 10 weeks. It is now gathering rubbish, stagnant water abs is dangerous. People have to walk in the road and nobody is doing any work at the site. There is no detail of when the pavement will be fixed.

Updates

  • No response from the team at Greenwich and the water level inside the hole is dropping. This means there is more room for people to dump their rubbish. If Greenwich are willing to fix the issue maybe they could invest in some ducks to at least make the makeshift pond look attractive.

  • Some photos to show how the rubbish is building up. For the keen eyes there is a guiness can that was in the first photo and is still there now. The balloons were from New Years 🎉. This is now the start of week 11....
