Dog fouling

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 20:51, Sun 9 January 2022

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Dear Greenwich Council Environment Team,

I wish to raise my concern of dog foul constanly being caused by the dogs and irresponsible dog owners on both sides of the pavement especially outside the school wall on ceres road.

It is like walking through a brown littered minefield watching each step you take just walking a few yards along the road. The safest place to walk is in the road.

Apart from the considerable inconvenience of stepping into the dog mess there is very a dangerous heath issue here if children get it on their shoes, hands and face.

The council should start a education campaign in the area and put up signs along the road informing dog owners how anti social this is but also health implications for the community.

A very concerned resident of Ceres Rd.

Yours faithfully

Mr J Azam
