Updates

  • This issue has not been fixed and cars are able to ride the curb as a result. Private property (garden walls and fences) are at risk of damage.

  • Thank you for beginning repairs. We have been advised to respond to our previous report to request an additional post outside and to the left of 1 Roper Street. The road space is marked for emergency access and therefore cars are able to ride the pavement when completing a 3-point turn. This is concerning as when we exit our home (sometimes with a pram), it is possible for cars swinging around to hit a pedestrian. Personally, we have had two situations where cars have sharply applied their breaks when we are exiting, due to the speed of turn and lack of bollard.

Is it possible to include a new post alongside the repairs currently taking place?
