The road in the one way stretch of Plum Lane is never swept. It’s at the bottom of a hill and consequently rubbish, debris, leaves are swept down with the rain. there is a drain underneath this pile of leaves.

  • The problem is exacerbated by the street never being swept. It’s the bottom of the short one way stretch so street cleaners go along Plumstead common and up Kirk Lane/Vambery Road before sweeping the two way stretch of Plum Lane. So the drain was cleared of immediate debris nothing was done about rest of area.
