Flooded pavement opposite Sainsbury's Local

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:01, Wednesday 20 October 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Early in 2021 a large section of pavement was dug up and there were rumours of a flowerbed. Nothing has happened and the section of pavement has deteriorated to become an enormous mud patch. Last night's rain has made approx one third into a huge puddle. There is no border around the "bed" so any pedestrian forced to swerve into this area to avoid a pavement cyclist or e scooter rider is going to get wet or even slip. Please sort this monstrosity out before there is an accident.

  • Huge mud patch still there marked with tyre tracks from large vehicles and home to ever growing litter. This is Charlton the forgotten ward of the borough. Council elections coming up next year. Thinking very hard about where to put my cross.
