Updates

  • I live opposite 33 Blithdale and am endorsing what has already been reported on behalf of my neighbours at 27 and 31 Blithdale Road. There are elderly people living in both these houses, i=one is 86 and the other is well into her 90s. As a consequence community nurses visit the properties and in one occasion the 90 year old resident fell and broke her wrist. Apart from the domestic inconvenience of legitimate residents not being able to park there are likely to be occasions where emergency vehicles would also not be able to park near the premises. My eighty plus year old neighbour advised that he spoke to the man who abandoned the car who told him, 'it's alright. It's the wife's'. His recollection of when tis was is some months ago.

  • It seems this vehicle was taken from a low loader and just left in the space it now occupies. It is a Renault Meganne registration number HY61ZFD

  • This vehicle has been in this position for at least three months and nothing seems to have been done to remove it. I have telephoned again today and left a message saying the same thing. There are elderly people living directly outside the house where this is parked and they are receiving up to three nursing visits a day. Other residents less old have to park their vehicles at least >50 metres away. The problem has not been fixed. It was left in a cavalier way off the back of a low loader with a toss away comment to the elderly neighbour, 'it's all right mate. It's the wife's'
