Littering problem not resolved for year

Reported via mobile in the Fly Tipping category anonymously at 14:58, Friday 15 October 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Hi. I made this compliant previously few times. You promised to clean Westhorne Avenue central reservation from littering including Yorkshire gray roundabout and surrounding area. No action. I reported this to TFL - they said their responsibility is to clean the grass and bushes and general maintenance of roads. They clearly indicated that littering problem is to deal with Greenwich council which is not responsible for litteribg for years. Can you please confirm who is in charge of Greenwich council? As they simply ignore all reports! Thank you

  • Litter still not picked up. Reported to MP now. Hopefully he will have some powers of council who only knows how to put cameras for drivers but not dealing with littering in any way for years! Only excuses!

  • Hi, westhorne avenue is cleansed every other Saturday evening weather and traffic depending. As it’s a fast road it has to be carried out at night while the traffic is light.
