Over grown bushes

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 10:52, Sunday 26 September 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

This may sound silly but after having to walk up western way’s footpath. I felt very uneasy. The tress/bushes outside both prisons over hang, the bushes between road and path are tall. Walking alone (in daylight) made me nervous. It’s very enclosed and if you needed help no one would see or hear you. Very low footfall which makes it worse when you see someone coming towards you. Like I said, sounds silly but this was my experience yesterday. I wonder how many other people feel the same. It’s the only path and in darkness it must be very intimidating. Could the bushes between road and path be lower/ removed? Make it feel more open/safer
