Constant dump of rubbish next to the “ Flora Mews Royal Borough of Greenwich “
We have moved to this place in July and there is an everyday dump of rubbish just next to the Council sign.
Could you please fix this?
Hi, Unfortunately this is on private land so RBG cannot remove, i have refered this to our envirocrime team who can be contacted at email@example.com
State changed to: Fixed

Hello, the Sign on the land says “Royal Borough of Greenwich” and we pay council tax. So it is the council responsability to let us not living in a dump.
The rubbish is full of tampons , nappies and any sort of thing, and is leading Rats and Pest. Please send someone to fix it!!

Please don’t change it to fixed because is not. It’s been since we moved in months ago that we have been ignored.
What we should do? Are we second class citizen ? Why no one wants to help and clean next to Kirkham Street sidewalk?

I will update this job when I receive a update from our Envirocrime team who are investigating this as it’s not RBG land so we cannot clear

Any chances the Flora Mews can be adopted by the council?

No This would mean the road has to be unadopted in the first instance but the land is owned by someone

I understand, could the owner be forced by law and council to take action though? Also shops on The Slade are leaving ther commercial bins without permission that are blocking the passage and our right of wat and leading more flytipping and degrade to the area.

Yes we can serve a notice that forces the owner to clear the land in a certain time frame.
At this moment in time I can only suggest you make contact with firstname.lastname@example.org so you can have dialog with them and they can update you directly. Also the land owner might have previously allowed them to store the bins here. This is something you can discuss directly with our enforcement team
