A wall on a footpath near a school, and in the path of children’s commute to school, partially collapsed a number of months back (possibly 6 months). All that has been done so far is the pavement is blocked off forcing parents and kids to dangerously move out on the road to pass it or limit the safe crossing area to a busy t-junction. This is compounded by people parking their car in front of the blocked off area forcing children further out on the road. This is a really busy road in the mornings and this limits where children can cross the road safely. To compound this the wall does not look at all structurally sound and could collapse even further causing potentially serious injury, although o am not an engineer to assess this. Overall there is a serious health and safety issue for children with this.
