Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 22:49, Sun 29 August 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2966371.
This hole is on the side of the road used by the buses (a red route) cars have to come out onto the main road on the other side . It is a hole about 6 inches deep which appears to go under the road surface extending away from the hole.

Came here to report this, as in the last few days the hole has gone from ~the diameter of a fist to ~the diameter of a dinner plate.
The tarmac around this hole flexes underfoot, it must only be a matter of days before this gives way under a double-decker.

The problem is deeper under the road than it appeared to be before it was excavated . The work is in progress ,buses are having to exit New Road from the opposite lane.
