Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later
Two weeks ago, there was heavy rain and the road where I live was flooded. Thames water and the council drains did not cope with the amount of water fail that day. One of the animals which no doubt was in the street drains network got trapped, drowned and ended-up in the drain at the end of my driveway. As I said in my previous email, I did not cause the flooding, and I did not give permission to the animal to reside in the drains network or to choose the drain outside my house as its last resting place. Thames Water and the council should have ensured their drains network around Delsile Road are adequate to take water in where there is a storm. I would appreciate it if you could send your team to remove that animal, Thames water and the council responsible directly or indirectly for what had happened. I do not see why I should pay for something like that in such circumstances when I am paying £1560 council tax.
