Dead animal in drain

Reported via desktop in the Dead animals category anonymously at 18:50, Thursday 19 August 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

I live in Delisle Road, SE28 0JE.

There is animal dead in the drain. That animal did not come from my house, it came from the street which is under the council responsibility.

Two weeks ago, there was a local flooding due to heavy rain and the drains swapped with water which led to that animable to be trapped in the drain.

Note, I did not cause the flooding or trapped the animal in my drain, or for the drains to be blocked and not taking the water. Thames water and council should have ensured the drains capable of clearing that water quickly but that did not happen hence, the animal drowned.

I would appreciate it if you could send your team to clear what is is your responsibility, directly or indirectly.

Thank you.
