Overgrown
Reported via iOS in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 20:43, Sat 14 August 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2935795.
The bushes on welland Street by Rockfield and Coltman house are very overgrown onto the pavement and jut out at least 2 and a half feet the need to cut and tended by an Gardener who knows what they are doing. They are interlaced with brambles and what look like tall weeds that need to be removed. They need to be shaped and taken back properly. It looks a mess and narrows the pavement.

3rd September weeds, brambles and new trees even growing. Hardly any place to walk without thorns snagging clothes. I have to walk in the street if someone else is on the pavement or don’t want to trip up on weeds. Just not safe and looks awful and unkept. Considering we are next to the Cutty Sark this is very low standards for the area. Nearly a month since the last complaint and nothing has been done.

Gardeners came and did everything else except the bushes growing over the pavement. Wish it wasn’t private contractors doing this as all their work is shabby and poorly done

Bushes on Welland street are still in a state as per the images above. The Garden team turned up on the 23rd of September and used a strimmer on the sections behind parked cars in the car park, which in fairness had hardly any weeds at all as people walk on this section to access their cars. This is becoming a joke.
