Filthy walkway, overgrown trees and plants, rubbish etc

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 20:24, Thursday 29 July 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Ransom road is filthy, it needs sweeping, there are beer cans, glass and dumped items up it. The surrounding trees are over hanging the walls and need chopping back. Also just under the bridge on the left hand side there is a small area that has a metal gate on it that used to belong to rail track years ago but def is now councils responsibility(as verified by a councillor ) that also needs cleaning out and should be cleaned when the rest of ransom walk is. Because of the state of the areas rats are now yet again a problem.

Updates

  • I like thousands of others went to the valley yesterday and was disgusted by the state of Ransome Walk as the previous person has said it shows Greenwich in a pretty poor light is this what Greenwich has come to? A street full of old furniture shop fittings and shopping trolleys beside all the overgrown trees making it impossible to walk along certain parts!
