Dangerous railing on park area at Blackheath Royal Standard
Reported via desktop in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 12:22, Fri 23 July 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2885626.
Yesterday whilst standing at bus stop opposite a ice of park railing swung out encroaching on to the pavement somehow - just as a lady walked by it.
I went to investigate and the lower bolt of the railing (holding it to the next upright stanchion must have sheared so the railing segment was swinging being held only by the top bolt. I tried pushing it back upright but it kept swinging out again.
I went home and came back and temporarily secured the lower fixing point with 2 cable ties.
