The pathway belongs to The Royal Borough of Greenwich and has always been maintained by the council.

The rear access pathway has over the past 6 months repeatedly been used for fly tipping and has so far been cleared at the expense of the neighbouring residents.

Non residents have also been seen in the path/alley when there is no apparent reason for them to be there, it is a concern as to why any one other than those needing rear access to their property would be in the alleyway.

Could a security gate for residents requiring rear access only be fitted? (but not one of those ugly pointed metal ones that you see on council estates).

Updates

  • Unfortuantly this is not a street services maintained alleyway, i recommend emailing envirocrime@royalgreenwich.gov.uk as it serves only rear of private alleyways so doesn’t look to be owned by RBG

    State changed to: Fixed
