No access to property

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:13, Friday 4 June 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

As you can see, there isn’t access to my property (and others) from the alleyway in Indus Road to the rear of Grenada Road. I am waiting to purchase a new garden shed and turfs and to clear the old garden waste via the alley rather that bring through my newly decorated house. Apart from being inaccessible there is also a health and pest concern. Another matter for concern is, the garden fence of Number 6 Indus Road was damaged a number of months ago. I’ve spoken with the tenant a number of times regarding this and I was informed that the fence was to be repaired, by yourselves, a number of weeks ago. So far this has not been done. Could you kindly advise me on both matters as soon as possible please? Kind regards Mr P Osborn

  • Despite reporting this matter on the 4th June of this year, I have received no information from yourselves. The access has obviously become more overgrown and additional dumping of garden and other waste is occurring. The problem is a health, as well as a fire risk to all the residents in the immediate area, including those who continue to fly-tip.

  • The fencing to 6 Indus Road has been completed, however, I am still awaiting an answer as to when or if, the rear access is going to be cleared. I shall be taking this matter up with the local MP, in an effort to get this matter resolved. Regards P T Osborn
