Hi Team
I’m a resident of Coxwell Road and I would just like report the constant high levels of household waste which is constantly dumped by the communal bin outside the news agents on Conway road. Every single day when I walk past here in the morning I see countless amounts of household waste dumped by this bin. Which have always been ripped open by foxes at night with food waste which has been left all across the pavement. I don’t mean to accuse people but I know for a fact that a large amount of the waste is coming from No. 4 Coxwell Road as I’ve seen the buggy and cot in their front garden for the last few weeks. I’ve made several complaints about the residents of No.4 Coxwell Road before and have never had a reply or notification that you will look into this matter.
I’ve spoken to several of the street cleaners and council workers who empty the bin on the corner and they all agree with me that there is a problem with waste disposal in this location. They have also confirmed that they have bought it to your attention.
Something really needs to be done about this as it’s so unfair on the residents that really care about their community like myself. It makes me so sad everytime I walk down the street and I see how people abuse the good fortune we all have and the absolute libertys people take towards Greenwich council.
I really think a camera should be installed outside the shops to deter this in the future. I’m more than willing to assist you if you would like me to help gather any kind of evidence to help prevent this in the future.
Many thanks
Leo Phillips
