Bushes taking over pavement
Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 14:19, Saturday 29 May 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later
From 189 Avery hill road to halfway street the bushes have taken over the pavement ,the bushes need serious attention as the walking public cannot pass safely within the vivid restrictions .
What such a simple job as severely reducing the bushes on a public footway so difficult is beyond me to date this has not been attended to . Brian .

Still open, via questionnaire
Have you seen the mess made of the hedges now - even more dangerous to the elderly, visually impaired and children. Been here in Avery Hill for 30 years and never seen these hedges hacked like this in their rush terrible, eyesore, security risk, hazardous. Used to be maintained by more professional workers. They only needed trimming back, keeping to the shape of the hedge, now the original sharp fence spicks are sticking out. I'm sure you will have more to say now, please have a look, great to hear your feedback. I'm just waiting for the red & white tape to become litter in the street as it disintegrates. Deana
