As you can see, the black bin is still sitting in the bushes. There is no need for it to be there. The only reason it has been sitting there for several months, is because Greenwich council do not care about keeping the area clean. This is obvious if you take a journey around the Greenwich borough. Every where you look in Greenwich, there is rubbish not being pucked up. But if you go to the high traffic areas like shopping parades and places of interest, you will see that they make a very big effort to keep it clean. We do not want visitors thinking that Greenwich is a s#!^hole, do we. The residents of Greenwich borough council, are being lied to by a local government, who tell you,"we do the best we can to look after our lovely tenants" and then treat us like scum. The Labour party are supposed to be the party of the people, but when it comes to looking after 'the people', we have to jump through hoops to get things done.Example:-- We have been asking for over three months for the council to clear the black bin and surrounding rubbish ,from the bushes. The caretaker did a very poor job of removing the rubbish, but only managed to do about a third of it. Then the parks department came around and shredded a bit more of it. Now it is being added to by car drivers who do not know how to use a bin. Pull your finger out Greenwich council and train your operatives how to do a proper job, instead of trying to get away with the least amount of work that they can do.

  • I have already sent another report about rubbish in the bushes. Most of it cannot be seen because of the weeds that are groeing and were not cut down by the guys who cut the grass and bushed areas.
