Tow Trucks parking on Eastcombe Avenue
Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:31, Mon 17 May 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2732173.
There has always been 2-3 tow trucks parked at the Charlton Rd end on Eastcombe Ave - however now there has been a daily, increase in tow trucks parking on the street, directly outside our houses and left for days. Mainly on Eastcombe Ave (the section Charlton Rd to Bramshot and along Bramshot). All within close proximity to the Police Car Pound: https://www.met.police.uk/ advice/ advice-and-information/ vr/ vehicle-recovery/ met-pounds/ charlton-perivale-pounds/ Can something be done about this please?

This is because of the recovery business on Bramshot Avenue, just near the foot tunnel. My neighbours have to put their bins out on the street to prevent the trucks parking there if they go out with their cars. Where else can these trucks park though? I have seen that the drivers arrive by car and then wait in the office for a callout - taking up both truck and car space.
