Stop line.

Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:23, Sunday 9 May 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

The stop line is quite far from the traffic lights coming from Brampton road towards Knee Hill. Vehicles are passing the stop line and then waiting next to the traffic lights when red. Some vehicles are also going through the red light which is dangerous for vehicles crossing. This is also causing traffic issues as busses / large vehicles are unable to turn left from A206 into Brampton road as it’s a tight turn. They need extra room to turn, hence why the stop line is further back. There has been a ‘yellow box’ junction painted on the other side of the junction on Knee Hill. I would suggest that the ‘yellow box’ junction should be painted in the big gap between the stop line and traffic light.
