This could potentially contaminate the duck pond. Also, could you pass on to the relevant department this message: I have been trying to contact you regarding the problem of dog walkers letting their dogs off of the lead and allowing them to chase the various wildlife, it is very distressing for the wildlife, especially the babies and infants. This along with cats being let out all over the estate to kill birds and other wildlife, such as the protected water voles that live in the pond, is becoming a huge problem. There have been many dead birds, frogs, voles found mauled to death around the pond. Maybe some signs and a leaflet campaign on the estate would help ease this problem.
