Appreciate this bin is not an RBG one but it has been sat in this location, just outside the Greenwich Park Gates in King William Walk, since at least 2 April (Good Friday). It appears to be locked shut but full. It obstructs the narrow footpath at the busy park gates.

Sorry Greenwich, but not "fixed". This bin was still outside the Greenwich Park Gates on both Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 May, although it had been moved slightly further away from the gates themselves compared to the previous weekend. It has now been there for a full month - since at least 2 April.

  • This bin remained on the footpath outside Greenwich Park Gates as of lunchtime Sun 23 May, 4 weeks after my first report, having been there now since at least 2 April.

  • Dear Customer,

Unfortunately this would not be something we will not be attending to as it is not a Royal Greenwich Bin. The best thing you can do is contact the Bin owners.

    Kind regards Customer Services

  • Problem fixed by 23 June 2021 - but only after intervention by a local Royal Greenwich councillor, as the Fix My Street service was not responsive to the problem. Somewhat frustrating that it took 8 weeks (from my initial report) for this to be dealt with.
