Again, another problem we have been reporting. The caretaker started the job, then, after talking to a manager who coame around in his little van, he stopped picking up the rubbish and vanished from our part of the estate. The bin is still there, there is an innertube stuck in a bush, various drink cans, bottles and cups all over the place and a large black bin liner full of some kind of rubbish that has been there for at least a year and a half. Once again, we ask that you,Greenwich council, do the jobs that you ask us to report on, (which should be done as a matter of course), so that our environment, around Shooters hill estate and surrounding areas(pathways and the park as well), can be safe, clean and enjoyed by the tenants and their children. Why do we have to keep asking, only to be ignored, again and again.

  • This area has now been attacked by the crew who cut(mutilate) the grass and strim hard to get areas. As i knew would happen, the rubbish left inthe bushes and on the grassed area, was either run over by a large lawn mower and some of it decimated by the mower. The same in the bushes, the plastic and paper was macerated and a lot of the rubbish was then covered by the cuttings from the bushes and vast amount of weeds. Just another let down by Royal Borough of Greenwich. Another shameful show.
