Once again i have had to use a different category to write this in, as i cannot write bins and surrounding areas. But its a new week and the council are off to a flyer. They have emptied the normal bins and completely ignored the condemned bin for 5th/6th week. There has been rubbish falling out of and off of the top of the bin, being blown around everywhere, again. Can the council now give us a reason, as to why they are not emptying the condemned recycle bin. We can only assume that the managers know of this problem and are allowing this behaviour to carry on. We have reported to you for weeks now, so i should expect that the council will have a very good reason for the fact that the work is not being done. Or maybe not. The lorries are coming here on a regular basis. ???????......

  • Thursday 22/04/21 - this recycling bin has still not been emptied. Greenwich Council, can you please sort out this issue urgently now? If the binmen or a caretaker spotted non-recyclable waste in the bin, then it has now been rotting inside the bin for several weeks now. These bins are right next to the flats at the entrance to the block -- we need the council or the binmen to empty this recycling bin ASAP now. The recycling bin is overflowing with rubbish or recycling now -- you will attract rats if you keep leaving it like this. Please arrange to have this bin emptied today -- thank you very much. (We don't care if you take it away as recycling or as waste now -- please just empty this blue bin and do not leave it like this any longer.) Maybe you should also consider moving these bins away from the entrance to our block, if you are not going to empty them. Thank you.
