Cover for the main sewer is loose and the concrete/tarmac is broken leaving a gaping hole into the sewer. Thames Water have been around and sprayed blue paint around the problem but this is nearly all been worn away. I have reported this on the Thames Water repair site but it doesn’t appear on there when I looked just now. It is a main bus route and the covers are so loose it clanks loudly all the time.

Updates

  • Greenwich Council contractor turned up last night only to confirm it was Thames Waters responsibility. So waste of taxpayers money there.

  • All sorted once the new covers were located. Much stronger than before so hopefully this fix will last more than a couple of years.

    State changed to: Fixed
