Overgrown Hedge Blocking Pavement

Reported via desktop by Andrew Mashkov at 09:14, Wednesday 24 February 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Up Shooters Hill A207 from Academy Road corner towards Red Lion Lane, about 100m of hedging has not been up up cut for several years and the problem just gets worse with time. The obstruction means pedestrians have to walk close to the busy road to avoid getting caught in the throrns. Walking so close to passing traffic is very dangerous, and Social distancing is almost impossible, as the available footpath is now only about two feet wide. The hedge should be cut right back so that it doesn't protrude over the council's footpath. The mess under the overgrown hedge should also be cleared away.
