Incident involving delivery guys on motorcycles
Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:50, Wed 17 February 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2552327.
At approx 12 noon today I heard raised voices outside my from door. I looked through the shutters and there was a fight taking place, five food delivery guys in black, some with helmets, against a man in blue, whom I think had got out of his car. I didn't see the start of the incident but one of the delivery guys was yielding a bike lock chain and another a garden spade. They held the guy against my railings and there was a lot of shouting but he quickly struggled free. I opened the front door thinking it may stop them all but they took no notice. The guy eventually got free of one of the men who was holding him from behind and got back in his car and sped off. I live alone with my daughter, who is only 8yrs old and she was very shook up by the kerfuffle. None of the guys came over afterwards to explain or apologise. Last week one of they chained his bike to my gate so we couldn't get out from my property. I want to make a formal complaint about them hanging around outside, waiting for work from the local takeaways, it really is intimidating and their bad laungage is awful, and now fighting.

There are sometimes up to 9 motor bikes from Deliveroo parked outside my house and across the rd, revving up their vehicles or shouting. My 8 yr old daughter is terrified of these men since the incident I reported last week where there was a fight and is constantly worried and trembling with fear that they are going to come to the house or there will be another incident while we are leaving or arriving home. Can these men be move on by the police? The KFC manager doesn't want to know
