The Sewer behind Flat 116 Ravens Way, SE12 8EZ blocked and spilling the contents from other Flats Toilets into Flat 116 every time the residents in Flats Above Flush Their Toilets. This is the second time this is happening as it happened in March 2020 at the start of the pandemic and it is happening again now today 16 Feb 2021.
In March 2020 I called out Thames Water and they said because the Sewer was not on the main road but directly behind flat 116 within the small Garden enclosure behind Flats 114 to 128 Ravens Way, SE12 8EZ that it was the responsibility of Greenwich council to unblock the sewer behind Flat 116 but because of the pandemic, Thames water came out to clear the Sewer blockage in march 2020 but they said they only did so as a goodwill gesture and that next time it happens we should call greenwich council as the blocked sewer was on greenwich councils property and not on the main road.
For the past 2 weeks now up to today 16 Feb 2021, I am hearing the same sounds that preceded my toilet and bath tub being overrun and flooded with the contents of the toilets from the flats on the upper floors every time the upper flats flush as i am on the ground floor in flat 116 and the Thames water man said the non-degradable wipes we saw when he unblocked the sewer in Mar 2020 came from the upper floor flats using non degradable wipes and kitchen towels in theeir toilets in the flats above the ground floor.
For the past 2 weeks now up to today 16 Feb 2021, every time anyone in the flats above ground floor in the block housing Flats 114 to 128 Ravens Way, SE12 8EZ flushes their toilets, my toilet on the ground floor in Flat 116 heaves up and down with water and my bath tub starts rumbling and gives off an offensive odour with some particles coming out of my bath and as this were the same signs before a full scale overflowing and flooding of my entire bathroom with Toilet waste from the upper flats into my Flat at flat 116 that happened in Mar 2020, I am reporting it now before my bathroom gets flooded with other peoples waste again as this can lead to a health epidemic especially in these Covid19 times.
Flat 114 Ravens Way which is also on the ground floor is spared this issue because the Sewer behind Flat 114 empties into the one directly behing my flat 116 which is at the junction that the Greenwich council sewers empty into the main road sewers and so my flat 116 bears the full brunt of the flooding from other peoples toilets every time they flush their toilets in the flats above ground floor level.
Could you please send a Greenwich council staff to please come and unblock the Sewer directly behind Flat 114 and Flat 116 Ravens Way, SE12 8EZ (especially the one in the small garden behind Flat 116) as it is blocked and almost spilling the contents from other Flats Toilets into Flat 116 every time the residents in Flats Above Flush Their Toilets. Please I am reporting it today 16 Feb 2021 before my bathroom gets flooded with other peoples waste again (like it has done before ) as this can lead to a health epidemic especially in these Covid19 times. Thank you very much.
