This is an ongoing problem that has been reported more than once. One side of the canalbank adjacent to 154 -162 is being used as an extension of a local refuse dump! This has been going on for over a year. household items are being dumped on a weekly basis, be it discarded face masks, empty food containers, bags of rubbish, kitchen bins to most recently broken sofas and broken up furniture. Numerous complaints and reports have been made to both Peabody and Greenwich Council, both of whom deny any responsibility. Well, as I pay service charges to Peabody and Council tax to Greenwich Council, perhaps i should ask for refunds as services aren't being provided. The other side of the bank is kept tidy & clean. I have seen Peabody operations that side. This leads me to believe that the problem side is Greenwich Councils responsibility.

This constant dumping of rubbish is now a huge problem, increasing an already huge problem with vermin, its making the area look very unkempt and rubbish breeds rubbish. Even the local MP doesn't want to know! Please clean this area up. Add higher fences, install CCTV for fly tippers,
