Union Wharf Rubbish

Reported via desktop in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 00:01, Friday 12 February 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Union Wharf seem to use Copperas Street as a service alley and dumping ground for their rubbish. The bins are left in the road fopr extenfded periods, often overflowing, which then means the rubbish spills out and is blown up the street. In exception this could be understoof, but there seems to be no attempt to clear up their mess or maintain the area. ...and we're not talking occasional items, this is constant and often larger items as you can see - whole bin bags in some instances. These photo's weren't taken the day after a storm, this rubbish has been here for weeks. I don't understand why their bins are permanently blocking the turning area that end of the road, why they are permanently left out, and why overflowing?
