URGENT attention; Loose paving slabs unstable under foot

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 01:55, Saturday 30 January 2021

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Adjacent to 209 / 211 Moordown SE18 by dropped kerb.

There are two or three loose paving slabs that rock significantly when walked on. This is both unnerving and capable of putting someone off balance, causing a fall.

Once the slabs have rocked, there is then a significant difference in levels between adjacent slabs, which could also cause a trip and fall.

Water gathers on the void under the slabs also, when the paving rocks as you walk over it, water is forced to spurt from the joints between the slabs, often enough to drench the following foot as it steps over the slab.

Urgent attention required, especially with the increased likelihood of water forming ice on the slabs over the next few weeks causing falls this way too.
