Concrete slabs disposed in domestic refuse bins
Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 19:00, Sunday 24 January 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later
One of our main refuse bins seems to have been used to dispose these concrete slabs. One of the residents of the square has witnessed a white van (unknown owner) leaving the bin area in reverse earlier this evening. The slabs were not there this afternoon so we suspect fly tipping. There are a few houses in the area that are renovated so it could be from there and they used our bins. We have placed a note on the bin to warn the refuse collection team

The bin in question has not been emptied this week nor we had a reply about the fly tipped slabs in there. It is not possible to empty such a huge bin to get the slabs out, without tipping everything out. Could we have a solution from the waste team please? We cannot have the bins full for such a long time. With 33 properties in the square they will be overflowing soon, since one out of two hadn't been emptied..
